Reading at home

Silly Squad, the Summer Reading Challenge 2020

The Summer Reading Challenge is back and this year it’s going online!

Oxfordshire Libraries is joining in with The Reading Agency’s Silly Squad Summer Reading Challenge 2020 for a celebration of funny books, happiness and laughter.

The annual challenge is aimed at children aged 4 to 11 and encourages them to keep reading during the holidays, but this year it is starting earlier! The children can set their personal reading challenge for the summer and as they read, they will collect virtual rewards.

The challenge runs from Friday 5th June until late September and is completely free. Parents and carers will be able to sign up their children at www.sillysquad.org.uk
